1st Wedding Anniversary!

October 23rd was our 1st wedding Anniversary! To celebrate Rusty and I got hotel reservations at the same hotel on SPI that we all stayed in on our wedding weekend. We had planned to take Mason but my Mom convinced us to leave him for the weekend with her, (she loves to babysit) so we did. It was the first time we had ever spent one night away from him, much less two nights since he has been born. We had a great time getting a lot of sleep and "us time". In between calling and skypeing Mason every two hours, we found time to go eat at some of our favorite restaurants and visit Clayton's bar. Here are some pictures of some of the sandcastles that were still up from last weekends "Sandcastle days". A special thanks to Mimi and Grandpa from taking such good care of mason while we were gone!

My Halloween Jammies

These are our favorite Halloween jammies ( that he's fixing to bust out of ) and some pictures we took after we carved pumpkins. I saw this cute idea on pintrest and had to try it.

My push gift :)

I came home from work the other day to find this light brown package with a little mint green box inside sitting on top of the counter. Rusty was very anxious for me to open. Inside was this beautiful necklace from Tiffany's of all places. I love it, it has an M for Mason engraved on it. So lets just say I broke down sobbing! Also inside the box was a note from Rusty thanking me for giving him Mason and going through 9 months of pregnancy and a c-section. It was so thoughtfully unexpected and made me feel so appreciated. I love my sweet Husband and baby boy!

Watch out all you ghosts and goblins. This little hotdog is going to take all the candy! Yes, I staged this cheesy picture but he thought it was a fun picnic! lol Isn't he the cutest lil hotdog you ever did see?

Weekend in San Antonio

Last weekend we met our cousins Crystal,Quentin, and their baby Cole in San Antonio on the River Walk. It was Mason's first little road trip so I wasn't sure what all I would need. It took me all week to pack and ended up probably having enough stuff for the entire week but better to be safe than sorry. :) We had a blast and did many things including: Ripley's wax museums, Ripley's believe it or not, and Rainforest Cafe. Mason slept through most of those things, but surly did have fun with his cousin playing in our hotel room. Not to mention his first time in the pool.We all had a great time and can't wait to see them again. P.s. My camera was acting up so I didn't get too many good pictures :/

Splashy! splash! splash!

Rainforest Cafe's friendly tiger with Cole. Mason slept so peacefully through the animals and thunderstorms. The atmosphere was awesome.
Here are some pictures from the wax museum. I was surprised to see that the wax figures were not as life like as I remember when I was a kid but we did have some fun with the twilight crew.

Two little hams
Cole is 4 months older than Mason so he was able to scoot around and show Mason the ropes. He also thought Mason's hands were pretty tasty
